Don Jones Drops Avalanche SZN III (Deluxe)

A Seasonal Trilogy Comes Full Circle

Don Jones is closing summer out with a bang. His latest release, Avalanche SZN III (Deluxe), completes a three-part seasonal rollout that’s kept fans engaged all year — and this time, he’s doubling down with fresh collaborations, icy production, and a concept that sets him apart with a unique roll-out strategy.

The Avalanche SZN series dropped in waves:

SZN 1 was fully produced by Goon, introducing a new creative connection for Don while delivering standout tracks like “Celestial feat. Char” and “BST FRNDS PRT II” with Goon, plus “In Da Club.” Showing the confident side of Don Jones.

SZN 2 leaned into sharper lyricism and more reflective songwriting alongside underground artist Kozmo, dropping “Change”, Top G”, and “Worth It”, songs that left listeners wanting to hear more from the elusive emcee.

SZN 3 (Deluxe) arrives as the full-circle moment, adding three brand new songs: “Purple Skies featuring Mar/kel" & longtime friend/producer/collaborator Day After, “Avalanche” featuring 9inetySEVIN, and Know My Name” with Day After once again anchoring the sound.

The features and production across the trilogy highlight Don’s versatility and his ability to build chemistry with different creatives. Day After continues to be an essential piece of Don’s sound, while Goon emerges as an exciting new addition to his creative circle. Together, they help shape a project that leans into cold, atmospheric beats perfectly matching the Avalanche aesthetic, elevating Don’s already extensive catalog.

At 9 tracks and 25 minutes, Avalanche SZN III (Deluxe) is sharp, intentional, and replay-ready. More importantly, it proves Don Jones thrives in the era of rollouts — breaking his project into digestible chapters, then tying it together with a deluxe that feels like the final rush of an avalanche.

“This isn’t just a project, it’s a series. I wanted each season to feel like its own chapter, but together, it tells the whole story,” says Don.

Avalanche SZN III (Deluxe) is out now on all major streaming platforms.
